Cheerleading
Cheerleading at Pacific University is focused on the idea of revitalizing the rich spirit our institution was founded on. The program concentrates on athleticism, school spirit and collegiate competition. The squad cheers for the men's and women's basketball teams (November through February). Additionally, cheer squad members must try out for the competitive squads which compete in the spring.
If you have a great attitude and love to cheer, then come join us! We are looking for dancers, flyers. strong guys (for bases for stunts) and gymnasts! Stuntmen, co-ed partner stunting, all-girl stunt groups and co-ed stunt groups are welcome. All levels welcome.
2009 Competitive Squad
Congratulations to the competitive squad for March 2009. Pacific's veteran stunt group placed first at the Power Athletics Competition in Tacoma, Wash. Members of the team included Aubrey Ortiz, Rachel Oakes, Melissa Preston, Fiona Munoz and Andrea Chun.
