OREGON CITY, Ore. — Pacific's
Tyler Howe won at 174 pounds but the Boxers still came up short in the team score in falling to Clackamas CC in men's wrestling on Thursday night at Randall Hall, 40-15.
Howe defeated CCC's Tommy Brewster, who is ranked No. 7 nationally in the NJCCA listings, 7-4. Howe improved to 11-4 on the season with the victory.
The Boxers also picked up 12 points via forfeit but also gave back those points and more the same way. On the mat, the Cougars topped Boxer wrestlers in three other matches.
The Boxers will be back in action this coming Monday evening when they host Warner Pacific at the Stoller Center. Start time is 7 p.m.
