2008-09: Finished with team’s top times in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:14.99) and fourth best time in 50-yard breaststroke (35.90)...Finished 13th in 100-yard breaststroke at NWC Championships in time of 1:14.99...Also competed at conference meet in 500-yard freestyle and 200-yard breaststroke.

2007-08: Emerged as top breaststroke specialist in first year under high-intensity training...Owned school's best time in 50-yard breaststroke (36.64), 100-yard breaststroke (1:15.66) and 200-yard breaststroke (2:46.21) and second best in 1,000-yard freestyle (12:40.84)...Time in 100 breast is fifth best in school history...Finished seventh in 200 breast and 10th in 100 breast at Northwest Invitational...Placed 15th in 100 breast at NWC Championships.

High School: Attended Burns High School, but school did not sponsor a swim team...Swam for 13 years with the Hi Desert Swim program...Also played varsity volleyball and basketball...Member of the Highlanders' state champion volleyball and basketball teams in 2006.

Personal: Daughter of Ron & Barb Garner...Exercise science major and Spanish minor...Her father played baseball at Oregon State in the early 1970s...Chose Pacific because of the small classes, strong academic program and small town feel...Favorite Quote: Life is like a 10-speed bike.
