High School: Ran for Ron Pate at Mid-Pacific Institute...2005-06: Hawaii state meet medalist in the 1,500 meters...State finalist in the 800 meters and state meet qualifier in the 3,000 meters...Was a state medalist at the Hawaii state cross country championships...First Team All-Interscholastic League of Honolulu (ILH) in cross country...High school career bests of 16:47 in 5,000 meters cross country, 2:03 in the 800 meters, 4:17 in the 1,500 meters and 9:57 in the 3,000 meters...Also competed in varsity canoe paddling and was a First Team All-ILH in the sport.
