FOREST GROVE – Pacific University's softball team will host an indoor skills camp for high school-age players on Sunday, January 29 at the Stoller Athletic Center Field House and Main Gym.

The all-day camp will feature individual and group sessions on hitting, catching, infield and outfield play coordinated by the Pacific University coaching staff and players, along with professional hitting instructor Sparky Parker and professional catching instructor and former Portland State catcher Hilda Stone.

Pre-registration is available via email or telephone. The cost of the camp is $75.00 and includes a clinic t-shirt. Campers should bring their own equipment and wear court shoes or similar non-spiked footwear. Warm clothing is recommended.

The camp will begin at 9:00 a.m., but campers should arrive 30 minutes early to complete registration and warm up. There will be a break for lunch at noon. Campers should bring their own lunch or may visit one of the nearby restaurants.

Pre-registration is highly advised due to the limited number of spots available. For more information, contact Pacific head coach Tim Hill at (503) 352-2167 or hill3383@pacificu.edu.
