HANSON STADIUM TRACK
The track at Hanson Stadium was the first on-campus track at Pacific since the late 1960s. The 400-meter oval is one of the few nine-lane facilities in the Pacific Northwest.

Hanson Stadium is one of the most spectator-friendly facilities around for track meets. All events can be viewed from the covered stadium seating area. The javelin, discus and hammer are thrown on the grass field just north of the stadium, with the shot put to the east of the track.

Long jump pits are uniquely located between the track straightaway and the stadium seating area, while the pole vault is on the west end and high jump on the east end of the facility.

Since hosting its first track meet, at Hanson Stadium, on March 7, 2008, Pacific has hosted a number of large meets including the 2009 Northwest Conference Championships and the 2013 Big Sky Conference Championships. Three meets are held at Hanson Stadium annually: the Pacific Preview on the second weekend of March, the Pacific Luau Invitational on the first weekend of April and the Pacific Twilight on the last weekend in April.
