Founded in 1991, the Pacific University Athletic Hall of Fame honors the athletes, coaches, teams and contributors that have been the building blocks of the 160-year tradition of Pacific University Athletics.

NOMINATIONS
Nominations for the Pacific University Athletic Hall of Fame are welcomed and encouraged from all members of the Pacific Community. Nominations are accepted in the following categories: Athlete, Coach, Meritorious Service, Team and Honorary.

NOMINATION CRITERIA
ATHLETE
• Must be a degree-holding graduate of Pacific University.
• Must have been a Pacific student-athlete for at least two years.
• Must have received recognition for exceptional athletic performance (such as all-conference, all-district, all-region or All-American honors), conference, region or national championships or consistent participation in their sport at the national level).
• Athletes are not eligible for nomination until five years after graduation.

COACH
• Must uphold the ideals and philosophies of Pacific athletics while striving to serve the best interests of intercollegiate athletics. While winning championships may be a factoe, the primary concern is a person's effect upon the student-athletes and fellow coaches he/she has influenced.
• Must have serve as a coach at Pacific for five years or more.
• Must have compiled a significant number or wins or produced a high winning percentage relative to the sport's history.

TEAM
• Teams should have accomplished high ranking or high placing in regional or national competition.
• Should have won one or more multiple championships.
• Teams should have brought prestige to Pacific University in their actions in and out of the athletic arena.
• It is strongly encouraged that individual teams from one season be nominated as opposed a date range of teams.

MERITORIOUS SERVICE
• Must exhibition dedication and loyalty to intercollegiate athletics at Pacific for a period of 10 years or more.
• Their work must have made a concrete and lasting contribution to the welfare of the Pacific University Athletic Department.

HONORARY
This category is reserved for persons who do not complete criteria in any of the above nomination categories by who, in the determination of the Hall of Fame Selection Committee, are of high enough merit to warrant induction into the Hall of Fame. Induction os an Honorary member must be approved unanimously by the committee.
