McMINNVILLE, Ore.— The Boxers failed to find the goal against the Linfield Wilcats for the second time this season. Linfield had four players score as they shutout Pacific 5-0.

Pacific (5-7-2) and Linfield (11-4-0) had five shots a piece in the first half, but the Wildcats were able to find the net on two occasions. Emily Fellows found the goal first in the 13th to give Linfield the 1-0 lead and Anna Sours followed in the 43rd minute with another Wildcat goal.

Linfield took a 2-0 advantage into halftime. Pacific goalkeeper Brittany Hartmann (So., Portland, Ore.) made one save in the first 45 minutes.

In the second half, the Wildcats outshot the Boxers 8-1 and found the goal three more times. Stephanie Socotch added to the Linfield lead in the 54th minute to make it 3-0.

In the 59th minute, Hartmann was relieved of her goalkeeping duties by Kayla Davidson (Fr., Kailu, Hawaii) after making three total saves and allowing three goals.

Fellows found the goal again in the 60th minute to increase the Linfield lead to 4-0 and fifteen minutes later Emily Schulte scored the Wildcat's fifth goal of the day.

Davidson made one save and allowed two goals in her second appearance of the season. Kaitlyn Harper (So., Oregon City, Ore.) led the Boxers with three shots and two shots on goal.

Pacific travels to Walla Walla, Wash. next Saturday to play Whitman at noon.
