OLYMPIA, Wash. – A career night for Adam McElwee (So., Woodinville, Wash.) was not enough to carry Pacific in their second overtime game in three outings Monday as the Boxers fell to Evergreen St. 89-82 in men's basketball action at the CRC Gymnasium.

McElwee poured in 32 points to lead all scorers, connecting on 12 of 15 from the field and 6 of 7 from three-point range to go along with eight rebounds.  The performance is the third highest scoring output for a Northwest Conference player this season.

The individual effort was not enough to carry the Boxers (2-7), who bounced back from a eight-point halftime deficit to force overtime.  Pacific shot 46.7 percent from the field (28-60) for the contest and went 7 of 17 from three-point range and 19 of 26 from the free throw line.

LeMar Anglin (Sr., Chicago, Ill.) posted his fourth double-double of the season, scoring 11 points to go along with 11 rebounds.  Charles Mosley (So., Hillsboro, Ore.) came off the bench to score 11 and Colin Wester (So., Sherwood, Ore.) finished with 10.

Josh Troyer led Evergreen State (5-9) with 21 points, connecting on 8 of 13 from the field.  Johnny Sarsyz and Mikey Hope each scored 16 points, Michael Brumsey added 14 and Marice Tolliver contributed 11.  The Geoducks shot 50.7 percent from the field (36-71) as a team and went 8 of 22 from long range.

Pacific had to battle back from a first half that saw the Geoducks shoot well.  Evergreen State shot 54.5 percent in the first half, which included six three-pointers, to dig to a 44-36 halftime.

The momentum swung the Boxers' way in the second half as Pacific connected on 56 percent from the field and 60 percent from three-point range.  McElwee contributed 17 of his 32 in the second 20 minutes and helped the Boxers force overtime.  The extra period was all Geoducks, though, as the Boxers went 0 for 4 from the field in the final five minutes.

Pacific will wrap up the 2010 portion of its schedule on Wednesday, traveling north once again to face Northwest (Wash.).  Tip-off is scheduled for 5:30 p.m.
