STAYTON, Ore. – Logan Moen (So., Brier, Wash.) jump-started a three-run fifth inning with a run-scoring single Tuesday, propelling Pacific to a 10-5 non-conference baseball victory over Corban at Joe Brock Park.

Moen's single started the three-run fifth that allowed the Boxers (16-10-1) to come back from a 3-2 deficit to secure the season series sweep over the Warriors (6-23). The Boxers went on to add insurance runs in both the eighth and ninth innings.

Moen led the Boxers offensively, going 2 for 3 with two runs scored and two runs batted in. Michael Arakaki (So., Mililani, Hawaii) went 2 for 5 with two doubles and two RBIs while Anson Arakaki (So., Hilo, Hawaii) went 2 for 4. Kyle Taylor led Corban with a 3 for 4 day, including two runs and a run batted in.

Pacific jumped out to a 2-0 lead early, scoring one run in the first on a single by Mike Nagamine (Jr., Aiea, Hawaii) and one in the third when Anson Arakaki scored on a bases loaded ground out. Corban tied it in the home half of third on a RBI single by Lance Foster and a double by Nick Stilner. The Warriors then took a 3-2 lead in the fourth when Matt Hamlin singled to open the inning and scored on a two-out single Taylor.

Travis Koon (Fr., Albany, Ore.) opened the three-run fifth with a one-out single and scored the tying run on Moen's single to left field. Kevin Schwartz (Jr., Milwaukie, Ore.) gave the Boxers the lead for good when he scored on Nagamine's sacrifice fly. Moen then scored thanks to a failed pickoff move to first against the Boxers' Justin Liu (Fr., Spokane, Wash.).

The Boxers tallied one in the eighth when Michael Arakaki singled to lead off the inning and scored on a sacrifice fly. Pacific then put things away for good in the ninth against reliever Quinn Macnab. With one out, Macnab hit Grant Gabriel (Fr., Honolulu, Hawaii) and proceeded to walk the next two batters before pegging pinch-hitter Rob Dittrick (So., Mililani, Hawaii) for the first run.

Michael Arakaki followed with a two-RBI double that scored Greg Tellez (Jr., White Salmon, Wash.) and Nate Rasmussen (Jr., Sandy, Utah), and Dittrick scored on a sacrifice fly by Conor Clark (Jr., Tigard, Ore.). Corban rallied to score two in the bottom of the ninth.

Jayson Fukumoto (Jr., Mililani, Hawaii) earned the win in relief in just his second appearance of the season. In two innings, Fukumoto allowed one run on two hits with a strikeout. In all, Pacific's three relievers allowed a total of six hits. Trevor Winsor took the loss for Corban in long relief, allowing four runs, three earned, on seven hits with a walk and four strikeouts in five innings.

Pacific returns to action on Wednesday, hosting another NAIA foe in Concordia (Ore.) at Chuck Bafaro Stadium. First pitch is scheduled for 6 p.m.
