Pacific/George Fox Baseball Series Moves To Forest Grove
FOREST GROVE – Pacific baseball will pick up an expected home series this weekend as this weekend's three-game Northwest Conference series with George Fox has been moved to Chuck Bafaro Stadium in Forest Grove.
Saturday's doubleheader will begin at 11 a.m., with Sunday's single game scheduled to start at noon. George Fox will bat as the home team in all three contests.
The series is being moved because of unplayable field conditions on George Fox's home field, Morse Field. The three-game set was supposed to be George Fox's 2012 home opener.
Pacific and George Fox enter the series tied for second in the NWC with Pacific Lutheran and Whitman at 2-1. The Bruins are 6-9 overall and are coming off winning two of three games at Lewis & Clark last weekend. Pacific is 5-8 overall and took two of three from then-No. 2 ranked Linfield at home over the weekend.
