Boxers Swim Big Over College Of Idaho

FOREST GROVE – Both the Pacific men's and women's swim teams recorded 16 event victories to win another dual over non-conference opponent College of Idaho on Friday evening at the Forest Grove Aquatic Center.
On the women's side,
Amanda Clark (So., Olympia, Wash.) picked up a first place finish in the 1650-yard freestyle with a time of 18:38.31.
Alex Bing* (Jr., Roseburg, Ore.) finished first in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 2:05.10. In the 50-yard freestyle,
Katie Porter (So., McMinnville, Ore.) picked up the victory with a time of 25.08.
In the 200-yard individual medley,
Allison Clark (Sr., Keizer, Ore.) led the Boxers with a first place finish with a time of 2:17.85.
Stacie Struble (So., Albany, Ore.) led the Boxers in first of the 200-yard Butterfly with a time of 2:17.39.
Amber Chase (So., Tigard, Ore.) picked up a victory in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 56.04.
Janae Sargent (Fr., Redding, Calif.) picked up another victory for the Boxers in the 200-yard backstroke, finishing with a time of 2:17.63. Struble took the final victory of the evening in the 500-yard freestyle with a time of 5:37.90.
The women's 200-yard medley relay team broke the previous relay record 1:55.56.
Kristine Valdez* (Sr., Poulsbo, Wash.), Bing, Porter, and Chase swam a 1:54.13 to take home a record and a victory for the Boxers. The Boxers out swam College of Idaho 127-51.
On the men's side, the Boxers picked up points with a first place finish from
Kramer Ichimura (So., Mililani, Hawaii) in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 1:49.44.
Jack Lloyd (Fr., Portland, Ore.) picked up a victory in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 22.72.
Michael Hargitt* (Jr., Oregon City, Ore.) led the Boxers in the 200-yard individual medley with a time of 2:04.63.
Lloyd picked up his second victory of the evening finishing with a time of 48.52 in the 100-yard freestyle.
Dylan Cramer (Sr., Caldwell, Idaho) finished with a time of 2:08.77 in the 200-yard backstroke.
Gavin Nash (Fr., Cottage Grove, Ore.) picked up the final victory for the men, finishing first in the 500-yard freestyle with a time of 5:13.93. The Boxer's 200-yard medley relay team picked up all the points in the second event of the evening, finishing with a time of 1:43.21 and the second team with a time of 1:51.54. The men claimed a 108-50 victory over College of Idaho.
The Boxers take on the Willamette Bearcats next Friday, Jan. 11. Meet starts a 6 p.m.
