Boxers Take Advantage Of Chukars In Exhibition Sweep

FOREST GROVE – The Pacific women's tennis team took control of the match Saturday as the Boxers claimed a 9-0 exhibition victory over Treasure Valley CC at the Holce Tennis Courts.
Amber Craviotto (So., Eugene, Ore.) and
Kelsey Lack (Jr., Grants Pass, Ore.) led the day off with an 8-0 victory in the No. 2 doubles flight. Francesca Battglia (So., Sherman Oaks, Calif.) and
Becky Sheller (Fr., Gresham, Ore.) came up with a 8-2 victory in the No. 1 doubles flight. The Boxers won the third doubles match by default.
Lillian Do (So., Beaverton, Ore.) picked up a 6-1 win in the first set and came back and won the second set 6-1 against Treasure Valley's Jami Farmer in the No. 1 singles flight.
Carlee Rhodaback (Fr., Albany, Ore.) saw action in the No. 2 singles spot, claiming a 6-0 and 6-1 victory. Lack also picked up a 6-0 and 6-1 victory over Jill Cote in the No. 3 spot.
Danielle Hunter (So., La Quinta, Calif.) had solid play in the No. 4 singles positiong, rolling to a 6-1 and 6-1 victory over Fani Lopez. The Boxers took the No. 5 and No. 6 singles by default.
The Boxers will head down to California tomorrow for spring break action. The women will play four matches down there, starting off with a match against Mills. The match begins at 10 a.m.
