Rewick Leads Way As Volleyball Wins First Over New Hope Christian

EUGENE, Ore. - Marie Rewick (So., Honolulu, Hawaii) once again led the way for Pacific as they earned their first victory of the 2013 season Saturday, defeating New Hope Christian in straight sets, 25-16, 25-9, 25-23, in volleyball action at the Rexius Events Center.

Rewick finsihed the afternoon with 18 kills and an impressive .452 hitting percetage as the Boxers (1-5) his .250 as a team for the afternoon. The Boxers registered 18 kills in the first set and 16 kills in the third. The Boxers committed just nine attack errors the entire match.

Mariah McHolland (Sr., Renton, Wash.) added nine kills and had a .381 hitting percentage.

Stats for New Hope Christian, along with added match information, were not made available.

Pacific will play its final non-conference match next Saturday, traveling north for a neutral site match with Concordia-Moorhead at Pacific Lutheran's Olson Auditorium.
