FOREST GROVE, Ore. – A headed goal in the 40th minute by Krisa Duff was not enough for Pacific as an overtime strike from Pacific Lutheran's Kaylie Rozell proved the game winner in a 2-1 victory by the Lutes at Hanson Stadium.

Pacific and Pacific Lutheran exchanged chances over the opening 45 minutes of the match, but had to wait until the 40th minute to see the first goal of the morning. Chandler Bowen (Sr., Silverdale, Wash.) curled a cross through the fog and into the 18-yard box where it found the head of Duff (Jr., Phoenix, Ariz.), who headed in her first goal of the season.

The Lutes answered in the 79th minute on a corner kick, where Lauren Larson tied the match up in a scramble in front of the goalmouth.

With momentum swinging their direction, the Lutes looked to push the pressure against the Boxers following White's goal and saw Machaela Graddy force Pacific's Megan Green (So., Albany, Ore.) into a 79th minute save.

Graddy's strike was the last chance either team saw in regulation before time expired.

Overtime opened with the Boxers on the attack, as Kara Lankey (So., La Canada, Calif.) sent her 93rd minute look wide of goal.

Laneky's chance was Pacific's last as Rozell scored the game winner in the 96th minute off an assist from Kelsey Hathaway.

Pacific wraps up its home schedule at 11:30 a.m. on Sunday when George Fox travels to Hanson Stadium.
