ResultsPORTLAND – With a scheduled dual meet against Whitworth scrapped due to poor travel conditions for the Pirates, the Pacific swim teams met the Pirates and the Whitman Missionaries at Lewis & Clark on Saturday in a meet that saw the Pacific women top Whitman 101-95.

Whitworth picked up a 106-90 victory over the Boxers on the women's side, while the Pacific men fell 127-67 to Whitworth and 127-67 to Whitman.

The Boxers' women opened the meet strong in the 200-yard medley relay as
Janae Sargent (Jr., Redding, Calif.),
Rachel Webster (So., Normandy Park, Wash.),
Katie Porter (Sr., McMinnville, Ore.) and
Amber Chase (Sr., Tigard, Ore.) Â swam to a second place finish with a time of 1:55.99.

Amanda Clark (Sr., Olympia, Wash.) earned Pacific's first individual victory of the day with one of the top times in school history with a 10:45.12 time in the 1,000-yard freestyle. Clark continued her individual success with a 1:57.31 as she won the 200-yard freestyle.

The men saw their first top-two finish of the meet in the 200-yard freestyle as
Raymond Miller (Fr., Portland, Ore.) finished second with a 1:46.85.

In one of the closest races of the day Porter was out touched in the 50-yard freestyle as her 24.99 fell just short of Whitman's Tai Hallstein and her time of 24.64. On the men's side,
Jack Lloyd (Jr., Portland, Ore.) swam one of the fastest times in school history as he won the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 21.59.

Webster placed second in the women's 400-yard individual medley at 4:52.08, while
Michael Sakai (Fr., Honolulu, Hawaii) finished as the men's tip finisher in the 400-yard individual medley with a fifth place finish.

Porter posted the top time in the 100-yard butterfly followed by the third place finish of
Stacie Struble (Sr., Albany, Ore.), Porter posting a 59.38 and Struble timing out with a 1:02.83.

Lloyd continued his strong junior season with one of the top times in school history in the 100-yard freestyle as he won the event with a 47.38.

The Boxers' final individual victory came in the 500-yard freestyle as Clark swam to a first place finish at 5:16.16.

Pacific returns to the pool on November 22, as the Boxers wrap-up the front half of their season at the Northwest Invitational at Willamette.
