st minute as Willamette topped Pacific 1-0 in the final Northwest Conference match of the season for the two sides.

Jill Phillips posted the first shot of the match in the second minute as she forced Pacific goalkeeper
Megan Green (So., Albany, Ore.) to record her first save of the match. Pacific responded on the offensive end in the 19
th minute when
Kara Lankey (So., La Canada, Calif.) sent a header high of the goal.

Emily Tuffey (Sr., Valencia, Calif.) fired Pacific's second shot of the match in the 23
rd minute, but saw her shot blocked by the Bearcats' defense. Willamette goalkeeper Emily Sewall for forced into action for the first time in the match during the 35
th minute when
McKenna Davidson (Jr., Kailua Kona, Hawaii) had her shot turned away by Sewall.

After a first period that saw six shots between the two sides, the second period saw 13 shots combined. Despite the offensive numbers increasing in the second period, neither team was able to find the back of the net as Green notched five saves in the second period.

The first overtime period was physical as the first five minutes of the period saw three fouls and a red card issued to Pacific's
Holly Chang-Northway (So., Eugene, Ore.).

Despite the one-player advantage over Pacific, Willamette did not find away to test Green in the first overtime.

Green however was placed in a tough position, only a minute into the second overtime as she found herself one-on-one with Desautels. With Green rushing toward the top of the 18-yard box, Desautels fired the game winner into the net from the top of the 18-yard box.

Lankey and Davidson finished the match with three shots each, while Green recorded seven saves for the Boxers.
