FOREST GROVE - The Boxers enter 2015 on the back of a pair of losses to Division II opponents at the Seawolf Hoops Classic (Alaska, 60-67 L. No. 3 Alaska Anchorage, 39-85 L).

The Boxers will look to end a long stretch of road games in a positive manner, before returning to the Stoller Center on Jan. 9.

The Boxers will have traveled 5,937 miles (beginning with a Dec. 1 roadtrip) after journeying to Tacoma, Wash. and McMinnville, Ore. this weekend.

Pacific opens NWC play Friday, after posting a 4-12 mark in conference last season.

PACIFIC LUTHERAN
• The Lutes concluded nonconference play with a 78-64 home loss to Cal Lutheran.

• Bailey Raines led the Lutes with 13 points, while Lacey Nicholson led the side with seven rebounds.

• Prior to the Lutes' loss to Cal Lutheran, PLU fell to Northwest and Evergreen State in back- to-back nights. Pacific Lutheran's last victory came in a 61-58 decision against UC Santa Cruz.

• PLU travels to No. 12/11 George Fox on January 9th for its first NWC road test of the season.

LINFIELD
• The Wildcats wrapped nonconference action with a 64-56 home victory over Northwest Christian on Dec. 13.

• Amantha Hood led Linfield with 21 points and 10 rebounds in the win. Genna Hughes added 11 points off the bench for the Wildcats.

• Before hosting the Boxers, Linfield will play host to the George Fox Bruins on Friday night.
