Box Score
FOREST GROVE – A week removed from a season-opening weekend against two Division I program, Pacific looked well seasoned in a 9-0 rout of Puget Sound in both teams' Northwest Conference men's tennis season opener at the Holce Tennis Courts.
Â
Pacific below through the doubles bracket to take a 3-0 lead into the singles and then saw four of the six matches go in straight sets.
Â
"We received a solid result today," said Head Coach
Brian Jackson. "We were able to get a lot of guys action today, and although it wasn't our best tennis, we managed to all of them out. Once we got our rhythm, we took care of business."

Jackson used the opener to test the abilities of new players in singles competition along with new combinations of doubles partners.Â
