Donnie Bradley's (Jr., Beaverton, Ore.) two hits, including a RBI single in the third, helped lead Pacific to a 7-3 win over La Verne Sunday in baseball action at the Rio Hondo College field.

Bradley went 2 for 3 with a run and a RBI in the victory, while leadoff hitter
Nathan Suyematsu (So., Tualatin, Ore.) went 2 for 5 with a run and a RBI. The top five hitters in the Pacific lineup all had RBIs.

Pacific (7-9) converted an error in the game's first run in the top of the first. Bradley singled with one out and then advanced to second when
Walker Olis (So., Burlington, Wash.) reached on an error.Â
Kyle Treadway (Jr., Phoenix, Ore.) followed with a single to center field, scoring Bradley.

A pair of leadoff walks came back to haunt starting pitcher
Tyler Kotchik (Jr., Beaverton, Ore.) in the bottom of the first. George Hanna and Mark Jebbia drew the walks, moved up 90 feet on Joe Winterburn's sacrifice bunt and both runners scored on singles by Pedro Espinoza and Nolan Henley.

Nathan Suyematsu (So., Tualatin, Ore.) opened Pacific's three-run third with his one-out single through the left side. He scored on Bradley's double to left center field. Bradley would score when
Nick Garrett (So., San Diego, Calif.) reached on an error and Treadway plated on
Justin Strayer's (So., Ventura, Calif.) single to center field.

Olis added a run in the fifth when he doubled and then scored on Garrett's single to right. Pacific added two more runs in the sixth when Suyematsu singled to score
Colin McCusker (Jr., Olympia, Wash.) and
Ben Duerr (So., Lebanon, Ore.) plated on Olis' sacrifice fly.

La Verne added one more run in the sixth when Winterburn drew a leadoff walk and scored on Ben White's double to left field.

Kotchik improved to 2-2 with the victory, allowing three runs on four hits with four walks in six innings of work. He allowed just two more hits after the two-run first inning. Kevin Knight took the loss for La Verne, allowing seven runs, five earned, on 10 hits with three walks and three strikeouts in 5.1 innings.

Pacific and La Verne will complete their three-game series with a doubleheader beginning Monday morning at 9 a.m.
