FOREST GROVE - Pacific build off a pair of close losses over the last week as the Boxers head to No. 11/10 George Fox on Tuesday and play host to Willamette on Friday evening.

The Boxers fell in a pair of heartbreaking decisions over the weekend to visiting Whitworth and Whitman over the last weekend.

Pacific played No. 13/15 Whitworth last Friday, defending NWC champs Whitman on Saturday and will meet ranked George Fox on Tuesday.

Pacific will host Linfield and Pacific Lutheran during the final week of January, before hosting Puget Sound in its February opener.

LOOKING AT THE BRUINS AND BEARCATS

The Bruins are undefeated after knocking off No. 13/15 Whitworth 70-39 on January 17.

Jami Morris was the top scorer for George Fox against the Pirates with a 15-point performance. Lauren Codling scored 10 points and snagged nine rebounds, while Justine Benner finished with 10 points on the evening.

Benner leads the Bruins with 15.9 points per game on the season, while Codling leads in rebounding with 10.7 rebounds per game.

The Bruins are one of seven teams at the DIII women's level undefeated on the season.

George Fox travels to Lewis & Clark on Saturday, before heading to Puget Sound on Jan. 30.

WILLAMETTE
The Bearcats are 5-10 on the season and 0-6 in NWC action, after dropping a 67-63 double overtime decision at Pacific Lutheran.

JoJo DeLong led Willamette with 18 points in the loss. DeLong is the leading scorer for Willamette with 13.3 points per game.

Willamette hosts Linfield on Saturday.
