FOREST GROVE – Pacific and Warner Pacific only had wrestlers for three matches Thursday night, but in the end it was enough for the Boxers as they closed the 2014-15 home schedule with a 7-5 dual meet victory over the Knights in women's wrestling action at the Stoller Center.

CarrieAnn Randolph (So., Honolulu, Hawaii) opened the night with her first dual meet victory of the season, taking a 12-6 decision from Aarcina Barcina at 136 pounds.  After Barcina opened the match with a four-point throw, Randolph tied the match with two first round takedowns.  In the second round, Randolph put little doubt in the outcome, scoring two four-point throws to win it.

Bailey Martinez (So., Oak Harbor, Wash.) put the Boxers on top for good with a 10-0 technical fall in 143-pound match over Breanne Diaz.  Martinez showed dominance from the start, scoring three takedowns in the first round and quickly adding two to win it 56 seconds into the second period.  With the win, Martinez improved to a team-best 12-6 on the season and 4-1 in dual matches.

Katie Eddy pulled out Warner Pacific's lone women's victory of the night, needing just over a minute to dispatch Wyatt Saling (Fr., White Center, Wash.) with a 10-0 technical fall.

The dual closed out the regular season portion of the Boxers' season.  Pacific will now set its sights on the Women's Collegiate Wrestling Association National Tournament, which will take place Feb. 13 and 14 in St. Louis.
