FOREST GROVE – The Boxers return to the Stoller Center for the first time since late-November to play host to Lewis and Clark on Friday, before heading north to Tacoma for a meeting with Puget Sound on Saturday.
 
The Boxers opened Northwest Conference play with a five-point victory at Pacific Lutheran, before heading to Linfield and topping the Wildcats 76-54.
 
The Boxers return to the Stoller Center on Friday for the first time since Nov. 29, when the Boxers defeated Carleton 76-74.
 
Pacific's back-to-back wins mark the first time the Boxers have won back-to-back NWC games since February 2013 (Linfield and Pacific Lutheran).

LOOKING AT THE PIONEERS AND LOGGERS

LEWIS AND CLARK
The Pioneers opened conference play with a 65-48 loss to Whitman and a 52-35 defeat at the hands of Whitworth.
 
Ayisat Afolabi led Lewis and Clark against Whitworth with 18 points off the bench and 10 rebounds in a double-double performance.
 
Afolabi is the Pioneers' top scorer on the season, averaging 13.8 points per game, while also snagging 6.7 rebounds per game.
 
Lewis and Clark heads home on Saturday, Jan. 10 to play host to Pacific Lutheran.
 
PUGET SOUND
The Loggers entered Northwest Conference play 9-0 before falling on the road to George Fox in the opening weekend of NWC play by a final score of 77-55.
 
Puget Sound was led against the Bruins by Katy Ainslie's 17 points and seven rebounds.
 
Ainslie leads the Loggers with 13.9 points per game, while Amanda Forshay is the team leader with 7.8 rebounds per game.
 
The Loggers open the week with Willamette at home, and following Saturday's game with Pacific will next host Lewis and Clark on Jan. 16.
