Kaitlyn Lomartire (So., Portland, Ore.) extended a win streak in singles Saturday as Pacific dropped a 6-3 Northwest Conference women's match to George Fox on the indoor courts at the Tualatin Hills Parks & Recreation Center.

Brian Jackson. "We feel that there are some matches we can turn around the next time we see them. We look forward to playing them again in a couple of weeks."

Vidovic paired with
Carlee Rhodaback (Jr., Albany, Ore.) for the first time this season and came out a winner at No. 2 doubles, scoring a close 9-8 (7-5) victory over Andrea Motley and Catrina Kwong. The Bruins won the other two doubles matches to gain the critical 2-1 lead early. Sarah Tuemmler and Chantelle Hadeed were 8-4 winners over Lomartire and
Mai Kobayashi (Fr., Waikoloa, Hawaii) in the No. 1 flight while Ali Diehl and Krista Rey were 8-4 winners over
Sidney Smith (Fr., Olympia, Wash.) and
Kanani Kea (Fr., Mililani, Hawaii) in the No. 3 match.

In singles, Lomartire won her second straight match and tied the team score at 2-2 with a 6-2, 6-1 win over Hadeed in the No. 2 flight. Kwong gave the Bruins back the advantage with a 6-2, 6-1 win in the No. 4 match over Kobayashi before Vidovic made it a 3-3 deadlock with a 6-4, 6-1 victory in the No. 1 flight over Tuemmler.

The Bruins, however, took the final three matches to secure the match. Motley scored a 6-1, 6-1 win over Rhodaback at No. 5 and Barnes survived a three-set battled with Smith at No. 3, 5-7, 6-1, 7-5, to clinch the team victory. Diehl also got the best of Kea in a three-set match at No. 6, winning 7-5, 5-7, 10-6.

With the win, George Fox improved to 6-6, 3-4 NWC. Pacific fell to 3-5, 2-5 NWC. The Boxers will next compete in southern California on Mar. 23, taking on Caltech.
