Daniel Wagner (Sr., Kailua, Hawaii) established a pair of a season bests in the men's hurdle disciplines while Shannon Hammond (Fr., Forest Grove, Ore.) and Emily Sproul (Fr., Salem, Ore.) made movements on the women's all-time top-10 lists to lead the Pacific track and field teams at the Saints Open, held Mt. Hood CC's Earl Klapstein Stadium.
 
Wagner battled through blustery conditions to improve his performances in both the 110-meter hurdles and the 400-meter hurdles.  His time of 15.65 in section one of the 110-meter hurdles was a .03 second improvement while his performance of 58.44 seconds in the 400-meter hurdles was a best by .55 seconds.
 
Hammonds moved herself into No. 4 all-time on the Pacific all-time list in the women's triple jump.  Trying the event for the first time as a collegian, Hammonds won her section with a mark of 10.30m, qualifying her for April's Northwest Conference Championships.  Sproul jumped from No. 7 to No. 4 on the all-time list in the javelin, winning her flight with a mark of 38.40m.
 
Kris Sapp (So., Sacramento, Calif.) added a NWC Championships qualifying mark in the 200 meters, winning his section with a time of 22.50 seconds. 
 
Trey Oshiro-Atabay (Sr., Aiea, Hawaii) was among three other Pacific men to win their sections in their events, winning the third section of the 100 meters in 11.53 seconds.  
Budweiser Hawkins (Sr., Las Vegas, Nev.) won the high jump with a wind-hindered clearance of 1.83m and 
Jesse Bethke (Sr., Cave Junction, Ore.) won flight four of the men's discus with a mark of 42.51m.
 
Britta LaVoie (Jr., Spokane, Wash.) established a new season best in the women's pole vault, placing fourth with a clearance of 3.10m.  
Katie Rock (Jr., Seattle, Wash.) added a second place finish in her flight of the discus at 30.26n.
 
Pacific returns to action next weekend, competing in the Lewis & Clark Spring Break Open.  The hammer and javelin will take place on Friday at Clackamas CC in Oregon City, with the balance of the events taking place Saturday at Lewis & Clark's Eldon Fix Track.
