FOREST GROVE – After a hard fought match against Lewis & Clark on Saturday, Pacific finished the weekend on cruise control as they downed Linfield 8-1 in Northwest Conference men's tennis action under warm, sunny skies at the Holce Tennis Courts.

The Boxers (6-1, 5-1 NWC) took the opportunity to rest a number of their regular players and provided some good on-court experience for some of the younger ones.

"After a tough battle yesterday, all of our guys were hungry and eager to get back onto the court and prove themselves," said Pacific Assistant Coach Pete Yellico.  "Everybody's energy and enthusiasm to keep winning has been a key to our success this season."

Pacific opened the day with a sweep of the doubles.  Brennan Faith (So., Redondo Beach, Calif.) and Reuben Mulhern (So., Boise, Idaho) paired for an 8-4 win at No. 1 over Kelsey Rosborough and Lukas Kleinman.  Clark Wininger (So., San Francisco, Calif.) and Oscar Wight (Fr., Adelaide, Australia) were 8-3 winners over Micah Roos and Tim Hawkins at No. 2 while Jason Voss (Sr., Jamul, Calif.) and Ben Ryweck (Jr., Port Townsend, Wash.) collected an 8-2 at No. 3 over Joel Trousdale and Liam Spearnak.

In doubles, Faith stepped up for a 6-0, 6-0 blanking of Rosborough at No. 1 while Fraizer cruised in a 6-1, 6-0 win over Trousdale at No. 2.  Wight scored a 6-1, 6-0 win over Spearnak while Mulhern collected a 6-1, 6-3 win over Kleinman at No. 4.  Sage Katayama (Fr., Mililani, Hawaii) rounded things out with a 6-1, 6-1 win over Roos at No. 5.
