The Pacific University volleyball team dropped a 22-25, 25-17, 26-24, 26-24 decision to George Fox on Wednesday in Newberg.
Pacific (7-8, 1-4 NWC) senior setter
Jamie Steach had 39 assists to set an attack that hit .090 to go along with 11 digs for a double double in the loss. For Steach, it is her third double double of the season.
Senior
Tiare Kaopua (Nanakuli, Hawai'i) and sophomore
Morgan Mendicino (San Diego, Calif.) led the attack with 13 and 12 kills, respectively. Kaopua has had double digit kills in 12 of the 15 matches for the Boxers.
The Bruins (3-9, 1-4 NWC) utilized a balanced attack in the win. Delaney Cruz led George Fox with 12 kills to go along with 10 from Danyle Dupray, who had a double double with 15 digs.
The frontline for George Fox had seven total team blocks with Cruz having her hand on four blocks in the win.
Next, Pacific will host Linfield on Saturday at 5 p.m. in the Stoller Center. The Boxers have won three of its four matches at home.
