Box Score TACOMA, Wash. — A Pacific Lutheran goal in the first and second half secured a 2-0 victory for the home side against the visiting Boxers on Saturday at East Field.

Eddie Na netted the would-be game winner for the Lutes (7-4-2, 5-2-1 NWC) in the sixth minute off an assist from Holton Halfaker.

The Boxers (7-5-0, 4-4-0 NWC) surrendered a headed goal to Joe Sammartino in the 74th minute, which ensured a 2-0 Lutes victory.
 
THE MATCH WAS OVER WHEN… The Boxers' third and final shot on frame was saved by Lutes' goalkeeper RJ Noll in the 64th minute.
 
STAT OF THE GAME… Pacific senior Matt Kimball (Tigard, Ore.) fired off five shots on the afternoon.
