The Pacific University volleyball team put the finishing touches on a record-setting season with a 25-22, 25-17, 25-13 win over Whitman. The win is the 17
th for the Boxers, who set a new record for wins in the NCAA era for Pacific.
Prior to the match, Pacific honored its four seniors –
Hannah Hulse,
Karissa Komo,
Anna VanderWeyst and
Kelly Wahl. All four had a hand in the win for the Boxers.

Wahl had two kills and a block, Hulse added four kills and a block assist, Komo had six digs and VanderWeyst added 25 digs. The 25 digs put the senior from Lacey, Washington at 556 for the season, eclipsing the Pacific single-season mark of 517 held by Jade Thompson (2011). She also set a new mark with 6.45 digs per set, shattering the old mark of 5.33 held by Becky Sheller in 2013.

Pacific (17-7, 10-6 NWC) sophomores
Milana Ivkovic and
Karlee Duncan had 15 and 10 kills to lead a Pacific attack that hit .306 – its highest effort against a conference team since 2013.

Boxers' junior
Morgan Mendicino had six kills and 10 digs and junior setter
Ellie Parker had 43 assists, eight digs and two dump kills.

Whitman (9-12, 9-7 NWC) was a balanced effort in the loss. Kalli Dickey and Brooke Randall each had eight kills.
The match ends the season as post-season honors await the Boxers, who had one of its best seasons in school history. Â Â
