Three players scored in double figures including sophomore Davis Holly, seniors Nate Olowo and R.J. Collins to lead the Pacific men's basketball team to an 88-73 win over Linfield on Saturday at the Stoller Center.
 
Holly scored a career-high and game-high 25 to lead the Boxers, whereas Olowo and Collins each added 18 and 10 points, respectively. Pacific shot 50.9% (29-for-57) from the field and 95.8% (23-for-24) from the free-throw line in the win.
 
The win is the seventh-straight for Pacific, who is 7-0 for the first time since the 1971-72 team started the season with 11-consecutive wins.
 
Linfield (6-1, 1-1) loses for the first time on the young season, landed four players in double figures. The Wildcats' Riley Bruil and Troy Arce each had 13, Tyler Watts added 12 and Liam O'Reilly scored 11.
 
Facing an early four-point deficit, 13-9, the Boxers scored nine-straight to take an 18-13 lead with 10:27 to play in the first half. Pacific remained in front for the rest of the contest. The Boxers stretched the lead to as much as 12 in the opening half.
 
Pacific went into halftime with a 41-30 lead, shooting 48.4% from the field. Holly led the Boxers with 14 points and Olowo added eight. O'Reilly scored all 11 of his in the first 20 minutes to lead Linfield.
 
The Boxers scored nine of the first 12 points to start the second half to stretch the margin to 17, 50-33 when Holly hit a 3-pointer with 17:47 to play. The lead remained at double digits for the remainder of the game. Pacific shot at a 53.8% (14-for-26) clip for the final 20 minutes and was a perfect 16-for-16 from the free-throw line to seal the win.
 
In the win, Pacific shot a season-best from the field (50.9%, 29-for-57) and the free-throw line (95.8%, 23-for-24). The Boxers will put its seven-game winning streak on the line when they travel to face Lewis & Clark on Monday night at 8 p.m. in Portland.
