Kaela Collins had five points and eight rebounds for a Pacific team that scored 20 points off 22 turnovers by the Wildcats.
The Wildcats (7-10, 3-5 NWC) were able to land three players in double figures – Kory Oleson scored a game-high 18 to lead Linfield. She was joined by reserves Bailey McDevitt and Genna Hughes, who added 11 and 10 points, respectively. Linfield controlled the boards, outrebounding the Boxers 52-36 and outscoring the Pacific bench, 30-12 in the win.
Pacific raced out to a 12-4 – on the strength of eight points by sophomore
Alexa Hinkley, who hit a 3-pointer for the fifth-straight game. The host Wildcats answered the run by the Boxers, holding the Boxers without a field goal over the last 5:24 of the opening quarter.
Next for Pacific is three-straight home games at the friendly rims of the Stoller Center, beginning with a 6 p.m. contest on Friday, Feb. 2 against Whitworth.
