The Pacific men's wrestling team lost a dual matchup to Umpqua Community College, 28-12 on Thursday evening in Roseburg.
The Boxers'
Matthew Baca (165 lbs.) and
Kaleb Winebarger (174 lbs.) were the two winners on the night for Pacific. Both Baca and Winebarger got their wins by pin. Winebarger picked up a first period pin at the 1:39 mark over Hayden Juliano. It is his ninth pin of the season and raises his record to 17-10 on the season. Baca improved to 5-15 with a pin of Isaiah Lepre for his third fall of the season.
Next, in two weeks, Pacific will take part in the NCAA Upper Midwest Regional in Minneapolis, Minnesota on the campus of Augsburg University.
