Then, the Loggers attempted to pick off Snydar from second, who broke for third and the pick off attempt went into the outfield to allow Snydar to score to even the game at 1.
Pacific went ahead on the day by way of its first hit of the day when
Haley Kodama hit a triple to score Snydar, who had reached on a two out walk to put the Boxers ahead 2-1 in the fourth.
With the tying run at third, in the fifth, the Loggers' Kait Webster hit a line drive to a hustling Kodama at third, who made the catch and tagged the base for the inning-ending double play.
The Boxers added an insurance run as

Nicole Martinez. Earlier in the inning, Bernard reached on a bunt single and stole second to move into scoring position.
The coaches and the umpires decided after the game to postpone the nightcap. The two teams will resume the weekend series with a doubleheader at Sherman-Larkins Stadium on Sunday at noon.
