Seven pitchers for Lewis & Clark combined to limit Pacific University to seven hits in a non-conference 7-0 win on Tuesday in Portland.
The Pioneers (8-24) scored three runs in the first and four more in the third for enough offense in the win.

Aaron Alexander (Molalla, Ore.), who continues to swing a hot bat for the Boxers, had his second-straight multi-hit game to extend his hitting streak to seven games.
After a first inning single by Alexander, Lewis & Clark scored three runs on two hits for the early lead. The Pioneers extended the lead in the third inning, scoring four runs on three hits.
The Boxers had multiple threats erased as the Pioneers turned three double plays in the win.
Pacific will next host Occidental in a three-game series as the Tigers come to town for a non-conference series. The action gets underway with a Friday night contest at 5 p.m. at Chuck Bafaro Stadium.
