Three Boxers –
Jordan Zweifel, Mlana Ivkovic and
Elika Unti – each had double-figure kills as the Paciifc volleyball team swept Lewis & Clark in straight sets, 25-22, 25-16, 25-17 in Portland.
The Boxers (14-6, 7-3 NWC) managed to hit at a blistering .325 clip for the straight set as Zweifel led the attack with 12 kills, followed by Ivkovic and Unti each with 10.
Setting the attack for Pacific was
Makenna Mahuna, who had a match-high 39 assists in the win. Zweifel also had 11 digs and Mahuna added 13 for a pair of double double performances.
The Pioneers (7-11, 5-5 NWC) were led by Kendall Malone, who had 11 kills and 11 digs for a double double performance.
Next, Pacific will host Whitman on Friday, Oct. 25 at 7 p.m. and Whitworth on Saturday, Oct. 26 at 6 p.m.
