Pacific Loses to Puget Sound, 3-0 to End 2019 Season

The Pacific University women's soccer team dropped a 3-0 decision against Puget Sound on Senior Day on Sunday afternoon.

The Boxers (3-14-3, 1-13-2 NWC) had five second half shots in the loss. Karla Herrera-Zarate and Brooke Nakamura each had two shots to lead Pacific. Nakamura had the best attempt at a goal for Pacific, hitting the cross bar in the 82nd minute.
 
The Loggers (13-4-3, 11-2-3 NWC) scored in the opening minute as Kiana Serrao, who had a match-high four shots along with CeAnn Romanaggi, connected on the first shot of the contest. Puget Sound went on to outshoot Pacific by a 17-5 margin. Puget Sound goalkeeper Chaylea Tome recorded the shutout in the win.
 
With a 1-0 lead, Gabbie Berg of Puget Sound added a pair of goals in the 21st minute and in the 57th minute to account for the final margin.

Prior to the game, Pacific honored its seniors Courtney Olsen and Megan Inouye-Ng, who played their final games.
