Game one saw Pacific jump out to an early 6-0 lead in the first inning before the Lutes rallied to tie it with four in the third and two more in the top of the 4

To begin the sixth, the Boxers got things started with a pair of singles by
Kiana Kushiyama and
Nicole Martinez. Then,

Game two was also a back-and-forth contest as one or both teams managed to score in all seven innings. But, it was the run that the Boxers scored in the bottom of the seventh that proved to be the difference.
The Boxers'
Amanda Machado started the inning, reaching on a walk. Next, pinch runner
Haylie Uetake, who was running for Machado, moved to second on a Lutes' wild pitch. Then,
Kiana Kushiyama walked to put runners on first and second for the Boxers which prompted a PLU pitching change. The Lutes got a pop out for the first out of the inning. Next,
