The Pacific University men's tennis team extended its winning streak to five with an 8-1 win over Whitworth on Saturday.
The Boxers (5-0, 1-0 NWC) won all three of its doubles matches to begin the contest including an 8-0 win at No. 2 doubles by
Reyn Miyagawa/
Joey Hu, an 8-4 victory by
Rayden Murata/
Koby Murata. Plus, the final victory came at No. 3 doubles as
Griffin Fraser and
Joey Balleweg outlasted their opponents for an 8-7 (10-5) win.

Pacific went on to win five of its six singles matches en route to the win. Among the winners were a 6-0, 6-1 win at No. 2 singles by
Rayden Murata, 6-1, 6-2 at No. 4 singles by
Jonathan Chung and 6-2, 6-1 victory by
Matt Weiler. The other two singles wins came from Reyn MIyagawa was a 6-4, 6-1 winner at No. 3 and
Garret Katayama won by a 6-1, 6-3 margin at No. 5.

Next, Pacific will host No. 16 Whitman on Sunday at 11 a.m. at the Holce Tennis Courts.
