The Boxers (2-7, 1-6 NWC) rallied from an early 9-5 deficit, scoring the final five goals of the first half for a 10-9 halftime lead. Three-different Boxers contributed to the spurt, including
Mackenzie Brown who scored a pair, plus,
Amber Lancia, Erickson and Castro each found the back of the net.
The Pirates (1-9, 1-6 NWC) started the second half on an 8-1 run, taking a 17-11 lead and remained in front for the remainder of the contest. Trinity Frank scored two of her team-high five goals. Plus, the Pirates made a change at goalkeeper with Laura Wells making 10 saves in the final 30 minutes for the win.
