Pacific Loses to Puget Sound, 15-2 to End 2019 Season

The Pacific University women's lacrosse team ended its season with a 15-2 loss to host Puget Sound on Sunday.

The Boxers (2-12, 1-11 NWC) got a goal from Mackenzie Brown and Amber Lancia in the loss.

The Loggers (8-7, 6-6 NWC) had four players with three goals including Ali Walker, Hannah Nichols, Jenna Kisner and Hannah Bushing in the win. Walker also added a pair of assists in the win and goalkeeper Ally Benko made five saves.
 
The Pacific attack was led by Roya Tahmassebi, who had three shots in the loss. Lancia scored her goal on a free-position shot in the final two minutes of the game. Brown scored a goal in the opening half after Puget Sound had taken an early 3-0 lead.
 
This marks the end of the first season for Pacific head coach Brittany Hartmann, who will graduate one senior – Hannah Reulbach.
