The Pacific University volleyball team extended its winning streak to six games with a 25-14, 25-22, 25-20 win over George Fox in the Northwest Conference opener for both teams.

The Boxers (8-3, 1-0 NWC) were led by the play of junior
Jordan Zweifel, who paced the team with 13 kills and two service aces in the win. Pacific had 40 kills and just nine hitting errors in the straight-set win compared to 32 kills and 20 hitting errors by George Fox. Plus, Pacific sophomore
Elika Unti and senior
Karlee Duncan added seven and six kills, respectively.

Haley Walz led three Boxers with double-digits as she posted a match-high 15 in the win. Junior
Nanea Lum and Duncan added 11 and 10, respectively.

For George Fox, Paige O'Rear led the Bruins with seven kills and two service aces; plus Kacey Bouwman had 13 assists and three service aces in the defeat.

Next, the Boxers will host Lewis & Clark on Saturday at 6 p.m. at the Stoller Center. The Pios come to Forest Grove after posting a three-set win over Willamette on Friday.
