The Pacific University volleyball team ended its trip to Hawaii with a pair of wins over Wells College (N.Y.) and Simpson College (Iowa). The Boxers began the day with a 25-22, 25-22, 25-18 win over Wells and wrapped up the day with a 25-27, 14-25, 25-23, 25-17, 15-7 win over Simpson. The victory over Simpson saw Pacific bounce back from Saturday's five-set loss to the Storm.

Pacific (5-3) started the day with its second-consecutive, straight-set win over the Express of Wells. A balanced offensive attack for Pacific saw

Haley Walz added six digs and four aces in the win.

The Boxers closed out the day, coming back from a two-set deficit for the five-set win over Simpson, who was vying for an undefeated record on its trip to the 50
th state.

After hitting at .156 and .000 in the opening two sets, Pacific came alive in the final three sets to complete the five-set win. In the final three sets, the Boxers hit .171, .242 and .273. In the win,
Milana Ivkovic had 16 kills and two blocks,
Jordan Zweifel added 11 kills and two blocks and
Makenna Mahuna had 45 assists and three service aces to lead the Boxers.

Pacific will come back to Forest Grove having won three of its last four matches. The Boxers will next host the Pacific Invitational, where they will host Mills College on Friday, Sept. 13 at 7 p.m. and Austin College on Saturday, Sept. 14 at 2 p.m.
