The Pacific University men's tennis team dropped a 7-0 decision to host NCAA Division II Hawaii Pacific on Friday in Honolulu.
The Boxers (0-2), who were coming off an 8-1 loss to No. 2 Claremont-Mudd-Scripps on Thursday, faced one of the top programs in Division II as the Sharks are currently No. 8 in the latest ITA rankings.
Despite the match being played under NCAA Division II rules, the Boxers did manage to pick up a win at No. 1 doubles as the tandem of

Reyn Miyagawa were victorious by a 6-4 margin.
The trip to Hawaii for Pacific continues on Saturday with a 4 p.m. matchup against nationally-ranked Cal Tech.
