The Pacific University women's basketball team extended its winning streak to four, including its second-straight win to begin Northwest Conference play for the first time since 2014-15 as they defeated Lewis & Clark, 69-56 on Saturday.

The Boxers (8-3, 2-0 NWC) were led by junior
Camy Aguinaldo, who scored 18 of her 24 in the second half to lead Pacific. She was joined in double figures by fellow junior
Courtney Carolan with 10 points. The Pacific reserves also had a key role in the win as they came away with 18 points and 17 rebounds. Among the reserves,
Madison Cabardo had nine points, plus they also got a spark from
Shelby Holman, who had four points and five rebounds.Â

The Pioneers (1-9, 0-2 NWC) were led by Jessica Cerne and Delsie Johnson, who had 12 and 10 points, respectively.

Pacific held a 28-25 halftime lead that saw the Boxers seize control of the game with a 12-2 run early into the second 20 minutes. In the run, Aguinaldo scored 10 of her 12 points to spark the Boxer spurt as the visitors led for the remainder of the game.

Lewis & Clark cut the deficit to two, 47-45, with 7:47 left in the fourth quarter. Before the Boxers'
Rilee Price ignited a game-deciding 15-1 run with a layup that put Pacific ahead 62-46 with 2:40 left to play. The inside game for Pacific dominated the final 20 minutes as they outscored Lewis & Clark, 22-2 en route to the win.

Next up for Pacific is a matchup against George Fox on Tuesday, January 7 at 6 p.m. at the Stoller Center. The Boxers are one of three teams in the Northwest Conference at the top of the standings with a 2-0 mark along with Whitman and Willamette.
