FOREST GROVE, Ore.- The Pacific University men's soccer team closed out their season on Saturday with a 1-0 loss against George Fox. The pregame festivities featured a ceremony that honored the three Boxer seniors,
Lucas Muller (Senior/ Independence, OR),
Cade Taniguchi (Senior/ Kula, HI) and
Alex Pasmann (Senior/ Salt Lake City, Utah).

Pacific and George Fox were able to open the first half fairly even. The Boxers registered three shots in the opening half while the visiting Bruins fired two shots toward the goal. Muller, tried to break onto the scoresheet at the end of the opening period but his shot was just wide of the lower left corner of the goal.

The Boxers opened the second half with another shot by Muller that this time went over the crossbar high. The Bruins fired their first shot of the second half in the 69
th minute which was able to find the back of the net for what would be the game deciding goal.
Nico Allen (Junior/ Sierra Vista, AZ) tried to provide the equalizer with four minutes remaining in the game but that shot would go high over the top of the goal.
