The Fifth Set
The Boxers lost the first point of the set, but quickly responded with a monstrous kill from Mara Murphy. The Boxers then jumped to a 4-3 lead off a Danica Nelson ace and two more kills from Murphy. Behind the four straight points with Murphy behind the service line, the Boxers found themselves up 9-5 in the decisive set. The Lutes then began to climb their way back as they tied it up 11-11. Then the Lutes made two consecutive errors which forced them into a time as the Boxers were up 13-11. The Lutes then capitalized on two errors from the Boxers after the timeout, and they tied it up 13-13. Elika Unti then came up with a kill to make it match point for the Boxers.
