The Pacific University baseball team completed the series sweep of Lewis & Clark on Sunday with a 14-10 win that vaults them into a tie for first place in the Northwest Conference standings.

Sunday's game got off to a quick start as Pacific (14-6, 9-3 NWC) put 5 runs on the scoreboard in the top of the first inning.
Tyler Quinn opened the scoring for the Boxers when he singled to left field driving in two runs. Quinn would go 3 for 4 with two doubles and 2 RBI's.
Tanner Johnson continued the offensive scoring with an RBI double to left field.
Isaac Lovings capped off the 5 run inning with a 2-out homerun to centerfield.
Chase Anderson stretched the lead to 9-2 in the top of the sixth when he hit a homerun to left field. Lewis & Clark were able to add 4 runs in the bottom of the 9
th, but it was not enough as Pacific won 14-10.

The Boxers will play a four game series April 2
nd and 3
rd against Whitworth University at Chuck Bafaro Stadium on the campus of Pacific University.
