The Pacific University women's lacrosse team was defeated by Linfield 13-8 Sunday afternoon at Hanson Stadium on the campus of Pacific University.

Linfield got off to a strong start against the Boxers scoring 12 unanswered goals in the first 36 minutes of the game. Pacific responded on a free position shot from
Julien Dagan that found the back of the net.

Following the momentum shift of the Dagan goal, Pacific went on a run of their own, scoring the next 6 goals in a stretch that lasted 17 minutes.

The run was highlighted by
Vivian Mai scoring four of the 7 goals. Joining Mai for the Boxers with double digit goals was
Sydney Bierenkoven who recorded 2 goals and
Julien Dagan who added the final goal of the game to tally her second goal.

The Pacific University lacrosse team will next play April 3
rd and 4
th in two games versus the University of Puget Sound.
