The Pacific University men's soccer team defeated George Fox 3-2 Wednesday night on a penalty kick by
Braden Kojima in overtime.

Prior to the match, Pacific took the opportunity to honor the three seniors who have contributed tremendously to the program over the past four years.
Brycen Lee,
Max Jimenez-Sutton and
Braden Kojima not only played integral parts over the past four seasons, but played big roles in tonight's game as well, with each recording a shot.

Pacific was able to open the scoring in the 34
th minute when a pass from
Mitch Takara found the foot of
Jared Debban for the goal to take the lead 1-0. George Fox was able to respond six minutes later on a Bryce Turnipseed goal to even the match at one before halftime. Pacific fought hard in the beginning of the second half with no opportunities until
Conor Barres put the Boxers ahead 2-1 with a goal in the 88
th minute. George Fox again put a scoring opportunity together and capitalized 1:15 seconds later to force overtime.

Overtime was back and forth with each team having multiple opportunities to score. Pacific was able to put pressure on the Bruin defense with just over two minutes remaining, leading to a foul in the box and a penalty kick for the Boxers to win. Senior
Braden Kojima was called upon to put the finishing touch on the match with the penalty kick. Kojima stepped up and fired a shot to the right side of the goal to give the Boxers the victory.

Brandon Porter said after the game, "I'm really proud of how the guys battled all game long. The guys were able to find their moments tonight playing soccer! I could not be prouder of how the seniors were able to cap off their final game at Hanson Stadium with the win in overtime."

rd in a game against George Fox with a scheduled kickoff at 3 P.M.
