The Pacific University Women's Basketball team fell to Alaska Anchorage 62-57 on Thursday night in Forest Grove. The game was an exhibition for the Boxers as Alaska Anchorage is a NCAA DII school.

The contest was close throughout the game as the largest lead occurred in the first quarter when Alaska Anchorage was leading 16-9 with 1:44 remaining in the quarter. The Boxers and Seawolves each held the lead 4 times throughout the duration of the contest.

Following an opening basket from Alaska Anchorage to open the 3rd quarter, the Boxers were able to go on an 8-2 scoring run that would equate to the largest lead of the game at 36-30. Camy Aguinaldo was responsible for 6 of the 8 points while Rilee Price capped the scoring run with two successful attempts from the free throw line.

Camy Aguinaldo paced the Boxers with a career high 25 points going 9-15 from the floor. The Boxers outshot the Seawolves from the line with 82% (14-17) compared to the 30% (3-10) from Alaska Anchorage.

Alaska Anchorage was led by Sala Langi who had 13 points and Tennae Voliva who added 12 points.
